Big Runs

in BC West

Get comfortable - this will take a while.

Get comfortable - this will take a while.

The Lower Dean River that we fish at BC West – the mile and a half section between the canyon and the river’s mouth – has some really big runs.

The one pictured above is called Ross Island.  Fishing the whole thing thoroughly will take you at least a couple of hours.  It tends to put out fish pretty good, and oh yeah, it’s just over a mile from the salt.

When you step in, relax and get your mind right because you’re going to be here for a while – but fish well and be ready, because big things can happen at any moment…

Can you tell me where Cottonwood is? Are you talking “Jam”(the first LEGAL fishing run above the falls) or above Little Victoria/Victoria and Totem’s?

Hi Steve, we’re talking the long straight run right around the corner above Totem’s.
